Arnold Schwarzenegger is off shooting a sequel to The Expendables with his mates, Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone, while the film he'll headline after that action-fest, The Last Stand, is gaining some impressive names.

According to Variety, Johnny Knoxville, Luis Guzman, Forest Whitaker and Harry Dean Stanton have all joined the action flick being directed by South Korean helmer Kim Jee-Woon - in his English language debut. Arnie will play a small town Sherriff who must tackle a dangerous drugs cartel when they pass through his town on the way to the Mexican border.

Schwarzenegger had considered numerous offers of work after his term as Governor of California ended recently. A fifth Terminator film is now further off with proposed helmer Justin Lin pulling out of the sequel.
