You told us you'd be back Arnie (well, in another movie altogether), and we KNEW you wouldn't let us down. Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to reprise his role as Conan the King/Barbarian/Destroyer in Universal's reboot 'Legend of Conan'. Last year's attempted a Conan reboot left fans of the original flick bitterly disappointed so here's hoping Arnie's attempt this time round will restore Robert E Howard's story to its former glory.

Plot details are few and far between at the moment but what we can expect is that Legend of Conan will stay true enough to the original 1982 outing, ignoring both Conan the Barbarian and Conan the Destroyer which were both widely derided.

Commenting on the forthcoming reboot, producer Fredrik Malmberg: "The original ended with Arnold on the throne as a seasoned warrior, and this is the take of the film we will make... It's that Nordic Viking mythic guy who has played the role of king, warrior, soldier and mercenary, and who has bedded more women than anyone, nearing the last cycle of his life. He knows he'll be going to Valhalla, and wants to go out with a good battle."

As much as this excites us, we think we might be past the point of wanting to see Arnie with his clothes off.
