Listen Nicholas, we get it, you're good at making women weep and men cry. Sorry lads, just when you thought it was safe to set foot in the cinema again, along comes another Nicholas Sparks movie.

This time around we're talking Safe Haven and, surprise surprise, it's set in none other than North Carolina. Do we really need to give you the gist of the story? It's the same old same old. A mysterious young woman named Katie (Julianne Hough) suddenly appears in the small North Carolina town of Southport and nobody knows who she is or where she comes from. She's just not that into any of them really, until she finds herself reluctantly (oh please, spare us) drawn to Transformers hunk Josh Duhamel, who just happens to be a widower with two small kids.

Throw in a straight-talkin' single neighbour and a dark secret from the past and you've got The Dear Last Vow 2.0. Girl meets boy, girl battles her demons, girl may or may not get happy ending. But sure at least we can gawk at Fergie's fella in his swimming trunks eh? Safe Haven hits cinemas in 2013.
