Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter have joined the cast of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, which will be animated in some form or another. Hathaway will apparently play an 'Ice Queen', which is what the press were calling when her she binned that bloke who was pretending to work for the pope. Hey, if that's not a reason to dump someone, then I don't know what is. She was charming in The Devil Wears Prada, but has since grated me with her casual slagging of our fair land on David Letterman: "but, ya know, the people were nice". I have sources who have worked on the same set as her and, let's just say, didn't like her very much. Still, the girl can act, granted not in Get Smart, but she's got talent; she just needs to keep her yap hole shut.
