Chopper and The Assassination of Jesse James director, Andrew Dominik, has signed on to write the English language version of the French thriller, Tell No One.

According to The LA Times, the new adaptation of the book, which was initially printed in English, saw its rights purchased in 2008 by prolific producer, Kathleen Kennedy, who then approached David Fincher to helm. But little has been heard of the project until now, with Dominik presumably in the frame to call the shots as well as pen. The flick centres on a man who thinks his wife was murdered, but questions her demise when he starts receiving mysterious messages.

The original is a tight little thriller that works very well. The fact it was written by an American and translated to a French film makes it stand out all the more.
