Gillian Anderson is to follow up the incoming X-Files sequel by starring in and producing a biopic of Martha Gellhorn, a war correspondent who covered conflicts in Vietnam and Spain. The reporter led quite the eventful existence and even had a failed marriage to Ernest Hemmingway; all of which was covered in the 2004 biography by Caroline Moorehead, on which the film will be mainly based. On why she sought the project Anderson said "Martha Gellhorn was one of the most respected journalists of this century, and I thought Caroline's biography effectively encompassed her rich and complex life." Enough said Gillian - she sounds like more than suitable biopic fodder. X-Files: I Want To believe is released on August 1st - which is too damn far away.
