'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' swung into cinemas with great success last weekend, finding success at the box office and acclaim from critics.

Now, in a super random move, Sony Classical and Sony Pictures Animation have released a new soundtrack EP featuring Spider-Man themed Christmas songs recorded for the film.

Yeah, it's strange.

Included on the album, titled 'A Very Spidey Christmas', is Chris Pine's rendition of 'Spidey-Bells (A Hero’s Lament)'. The number can be heard in the animated movie's end credits.

Pine also performs 'Up on the House Top' for the EP. Its other songs include 'Joy to the World' performed by Shameik Moore and 'Deck the Halls' performed by Jake Johnson. Plus Jorma Taccone narrates 'The Night Before Christmas 1967'.
