It's been 10 years since An Inconvenient Truth inspired the masses, won an Oscar and former Vice President of the United States Al Gore a Nobel Prize for his tireless work on climate change.

But there are still people out there who believe climate change to be a hoax and, having seen the sequel, An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power, there's an inherent frustration from Gore with those who seem intent on arguing with science and facts.

Now the IMDB score for the film stands at around a 5; which means the majority of people have either given it a rating of 1 or 10. That's America right there, folks. Critics have certified it fresh on Rotten Tomatoes at 76% at time of writing.

Gore is desperately attempting to show patience in town hall discussions with those who don't agree with, well, the scientific fact that it's a real thing that's happening.

The film is released in Irish cinemas on August 18th.
