Although nothing could hope to replace the great Raul Julia and Anjelica Huston as Gomez and Morticia Addams, you've got to admit that Oscar Isaac and Charlize Theron are perfect castings as their animated equivalents.

Interestingly enough, 'The Addams Family' was once an animated series in the '70s with none other than Jodie Foster voicing Pugsley. Anyway, the new animated movie will feature the aforementioned Isaac and Theron as Gomez and Morticia, Nick Kroll as Uncle Fester and Bette Midler as Grandmama.

Allison Janney, meanwhile, plays a reality TV show host called Margeaux Needler whilst Chloe Moretz and 'Stranger Things' alum Finn Wolfhard play Wednesday and Pugsley, respectively. Meanwhile, 'Sausage Party' directors Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan (who's Irish and actually worked in Bluth Studios, by the way) are bringing all the weirdness to life.

'The Addams Family' arrives in Irish cinemas on October 25th.
