Adam Sandler is very much capable of giving a brilliant performance. Reign On Me, Punch Drunk Love and Funny People all proved that unequivocally. But not one of those movies was a hit, which is why The Sandman appears to be going back to his broad comedy roots with Jack and Jill. According to the beacon for trade information that is Variety, Sandler will play both Jack and Jill, a brother and sister pairing, in a film that he will produce through his own production company Happy Madison. He'll next be seen in the comedy Grown Ups, with Chris Rock and Kevin James, which he wrote and will also be producing.
