The film went down just 8% from its week-on-week earnings from the previous seven days, earning €370,579 this week alone. If the current trend continues, it's likely that 'A Star Is Born' will finish out the year as one of the most successful movies at the Irish box office.

'Bohemian Rhapsody' however is still flying at the top of the Irish box office with a strong €1,420,003 and a 6% gain from its opening week at the Irish box office. Further down the report, 'The Nutcracker and The Four Realms' opened with a disappointing €189,736 and finished it fourth place on this week's charts.

'Johnny English Strikes Again', meanwhile, has hung for over five weeks at the Irish box office, totalling €1,332,215 at the Irish box office and gaining a whopping 30% on its week-on-week earnings from the previous seven day period. Despite falling flat with critics, 'Venom' has also hung over the five week period with a total of €1,546,510 so far.

It's not yet known how long 'A Star Is Born' will hang on at the Irish box office, but given how its spent five weeks hovering around the top spot, it most likely won't be going anywhere any time soon.
