Although 3 Men And A Baby was itself a remake of a French film, there's now another remake in the works of the 1987 classic.
According to a Deadline report on Disney's new streaming service, one of the films listed for "priority development" is a remake to 3 Men And A Baby and Sword In The Stone. Bryan Cogman, late of Game Of Thrones, and Juan Carlos Fresnadillo of 28 Weeks Later fame have signed on to write and direct Sword In The Stone - however no director, writer or cast has been attached to the remake of 3 Men And A Baby just yet.
The original film, released in 1987, was directed by Leonard Nimoy (yes, that's Spock from Star Trek) and starred Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson as three bachelors in New York who found themselves trying to cope with a baby left on their doorstep. The film was a box-office smash and made $167 million in the US alone against a production budget of $11 million - and that's not even counting international sales and home video rentals either.
If Deadline's report is to be believed, the remake of 3 Men And A Baby will only be available through Disney's streaming service and will not see a theatrical release. So, over to you - who would you cast as the three men?
