Don't get yourself too bogged down with this news - a reboot of 'Back to the Future' is not on the cards yet. However, according to a new poll conducted by The Hollywood Reporter, cinema-goers are keen to see a reboot of the beloved franchise, as well as many more key blockbusters.

First off, we want to know the details of the people who took part in the poll. We need names and email addresses, and we want to write them a hefty message giving them a piece of our mind. The absolute cheek.

Anyway, fans of 'Back to the Future' have been sharing their thoughts on the news - and it's not good.

Luckily, it seems that all is not lost. A fan has tweeted to say that the writers said back in 2015 they would never let a reboot happen. He said, "Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale have rights to Back to the Future and thankfully won't let that reboot happen barring something utterly crazy happening."

Of the 2,201 adults surveyed in The Hollywood Reporter poll, other franchises like 'Toy Story' (which is getting a fourth outing next year); and Jurassic Park (which has already rebooted the franchise with Jurassic World) also were near the top of the list. Which begs the question - were these people living under rocks?
