Do you believe in life after Mamma Mia?

Well you best believe it because not only is there going to be a sequel to the 2008 hit musical – which will be called Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again – but a music legend slash Oscar winner has joined the cast.

Cher has been teasing fans about a potential Mamma Mia appearance on Twitter for the past few days now, and EW has since confirmed that the singer is indeed going to star in the movie.

The sequel marks Cher’s first onscreen film role since 2010’s Burlesque and will see her reunited with Meryl Streep, whom she starred opposite in in 1983’s Silkwood.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again sees the return of all the core cast members (Streep, Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan, Amanda Seyfried, Stellan Skarsgård, Christine Baranski, Julie Walters and Dominic Cooper) and is due to hit cinemas July 20th 2018.
