Jamie Chung (Sucker Punch), Julie Bowen (Modern Family), Connie Britton (TV version of Friday Night Lights) and Jennifer Morrison (the hugely underrated Stir of Echoes) have joined the cast of indie political drama Knife Fight reports, Variety by way of Darkhorizons.com.

Rob Lowe stars in the flick as a "political crisis manager who specializes in playing hardball on behalf of scandal-plagued clients." Bowen will play a TV reporter and Chung his assistant - the other roles are unclear as of yet.

Documentary filmmaker Bill Guttentag has co-penned the script and is directing.
