Vin Diesel is currently enjoying a John Travolta level of career resurgence after the (surprise) mammoth success of the last two Fast and Furious sequels. While he's firmly committed to a third Riddick film, he's also signed on for another original project.
According to Variety, Diesel will headline an untitled script from the chaps behind recent Liam Neeson hit, Unknown, Oliver Butcher and Stephen Cornwell. There is no director attached yet, and details on the project are predictably sparse but the beefy action star will produce and it's more than likely an action vehicle - hopefully a better one than Unknown proved to be for Leeson.
Diesel also has The Machine due to go into production, but his next two flicks will most likely be sequels in the 'Riddick' and 'Fast' series'.
