Moneyball, the film that was pulled from production less than a week before cameras were to roll by Sony, now has two new directors apparently vying to take the helm. According to, Marc Webb who directed the brilliant 500 Days of Summer, and Bennet Miller (the Oscar winning Capote) are the two front-runners to replace the recently ousted Steven Soderbergh. Brad Pitt is still attached to the biopic of baseball innovator Billy Beane, and the seminal writing talents of Aaron Sorkin were recently utilised for a rewrite. Fingers crossed for Webb, would love to see what he could do with all that A-list talent.
