From what we see, Cara Delevingne abides by Kate Moss' mantra that grunge and decadence can go hand in hand if you are a top model and fiercly fiesty enough. Given this and her recent foray into film with the blockbuster Anna Karenina adaptation and upcoming Kids in Love, which follows the lives of young rich Londoners, it's not all that surprising that the model of the moment may star as the lead in Fifty Shades of Grey.

Rumour has it the 20-year-old elysian eyebrowed Burberry model would love to be cast as the part as she believes it would help establish her as a serious actor. As well as modelling, she has her sights set on conquering both music and acting. Director Sam Taylor-Johnson wants her for the movie according to a source, but has not yet settled for which role. If her recent stage crash at 'wifey' Rita Ora's DKNY gig is anything to go by, she will garner a spot in the film as a leather-clad vixen any day now.

In further 50 Shades of Grey breaking news, Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick Ass, Nowhere Boy) has cleared up any misconceptions that he may be cast as Christian Grey, despite having a link with the movie adaptation now that his wife Sam Taylor-Johnson has been named director.

Speaking to The Metro, the actor stated 'I am not Christian Grey [...] I mean, he is supposed to be the most gorgeous man on the fucking planet! And I am not old enough.' He went on to praise his partner, gushing 'She's creative, incredibly talented, she's got an extraordinary eye. She had a good idea about the whole Fifty experience, she understands it'. Not sure exactly what that 'understanding' indicates, Mr. Johnson, but keep it to yourself if it's bedroom related please. Some people.
