Did you all have a nice Christmas? Yeah? And a Happy New Year? Yes? Well… WELCOME TO JANUARY! It's cold, it's wet, and everyone's broke! But don't fret, as there is a warm, comfy, and perhaps best of all, cost-effective light at the end of this dreary tunnel!

The 10 branches of ODEON Cinemas around Dublin and Ireland - you'll find them at The Point Village, Coolock, Blanchardstown, Stillorgan, Naas, Newbridge, Waterford, Portlaoise, Cavan and Limerick - are offering some fantastic deals to help get you through this miserable month without putting a dent in your wallet. And this is some very, very good news, as not only is it right smack bang in the middle of Oscar Season, there's also some big blockbusters coming your way over the next few weeks.

First things first, for all you early birds out there:

FILMS IN THE MORNING
Getting out of bed isn't easy, all toasty in our duvet cocoon. But the nice folks at ODEON Cinemas have given us all an incentive not to hit that snooze button over and over again. If you choose to go see any standard movie (i.e. not 3D, iSense, etc), and if that movie happens to start before 1pm, then you only pay €6*! Sure you'd probably find that in change under your bed! Online ticket prices include a Remote Booking Fee of 50c per ticket.

Next up, something to help you get over that Hump Day:

BARGAIN WEDNESDAY
Let's be honest, Wednesday is the worst day of the week. Monday and Tuesday you're still reminiscing about last weekend, Thursday and Friday you're daydreaming about next weekend, and Saturday and Sunday IS the weekend! But Wednesday? Wednesday is the worst! However, in ODEON Cinemas, Wednesday is the best! If you check out your local branch of ODEON's cinema page, click on the tab "Bargain Wednesday", and you'll see massively reduced prices on all the movies you want to go see. Take that, Wednesday!

And finally, last but by no means least, deals for the young'uns:

FAMILIES, STUDENTS AND TEENS
Is there nothing better to give your child than the gift of cinema? No need to answer that, we already know you're going to say "Yes". 2013 was a pretty great year for family movies, and 2014 looks to be even better. With the ODEON Family Ticket, you'll get 4 tickets (2 adults & 2 kids, or 1 adult & 3 kids), and the deal is so good, that the adults pay childs prices or less!
Then there's the special Teens Ticket, for those aged 13 to 17, which is a plus as they won't get charged an adult price for not having a student ID.

Speaking of students, they also get reduced pricing on their tickets, especially during the day when you've got a few hours to kill between classes. Handy.

On top of all that, ODEON Cinemas are also holding ODEON Newbies screenings, which is exclusively for parents and guardians of newborn babies, as well as ODEON Kids (at cheap prices that everyone can afford), which take place every Saturday and Sunday morning, with films specially selected for the wee ones.

So what more are you waiting for? Go get your spend on at ODEON this January!
