Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, who last helmed the downright gritty and horrific (in a good way) 28 Weeks Later, is to lend his services to a remake of the cult classic, X: The Man With The X-Ray Eyes. The original was made by bargain bin, but often brilliant, producer/director Roger Corman, and centred on a man who came up with a formula for x-ray vision, that worked a little too well. Script has yet to be penned, but it's thought that studio MGM have put this one on the fast track, with Fresnadillo expected to make it his next film.
