We’re all a bit Scarlett after this clip (*crickets chirp*).
The cast of Avengers: Infinity War have appeared on just about every major American talk show over the past week, including Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel’s, so it makes sense that by the time they got round to Conan O’Brien’s show, they felt comfy enough to compare themselves to meat products.
The conversation starts with Conan asking the cast members on the show – which include Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Anthony Mackie, Scarlett Johansson and Danai Gurira – if there’s a consensus as to which of them is the most attractive. Mackie leads the charge with the meat references.
Apparently Chris Pratt is pork chops, Hemsworth is (implicitly) steak, Mackie is salmon, and Scarlett Johansson, whose eyes are rolling to heaven for the conversation (“You see why I was so happy when more female characters were introduced?” she comments at one point), is sweet potatoes.
