Ryan Reynolds, looking lovely in skinny jeans, sneakers and a little leather number sat down for the bants with Today co-host Willie Geist to promote his film with Helen Mirren, Woman In Gold (which is everywhere of late). Needless to say, it wasn't long before the questioning turned to his new role as a father (segway gold right there)
Of being a father for the last three months, he said: "It's been amazing. I'm pretty sure my baby girl doesn't understand a thing I say. She doesn't like anything... There is no problem that a breast won't fix though... That's what the tattoo says right here. "

"You worry about really stupid stuff... And you sort of sit there and go, 'Oh gosh, is she gonna wanna do this?' I like to whisper in her ear, like, really normal everyday jobs. "You're going to be a flight attendant. A barista. Just normal wonderful jobs. You can have a nice normal life.... A Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. OK maybe not although I imagine it's an exciting job."
And, when asked about his liddler's name yet again, Ryan relented and said "It's Butternut Summersquash", before revealing what a number of outlets had revealed previously, that his daughter's name is James.
He just didn't want to be the one person to unleash the news, "the first guy to be screaming it out to the media." Because one day his daughter is going to be a teenager and if she learns her father was the one to first blab her name, she won't appreciate it. Ryan, that is the least of your worries; as a teenage girl, James will have no end of reasons re why you make her very existence hell.
