Sure she could take over the world quite easily at this point. And we'd be 100% okay with that.
Beyoncé took home MTV's Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award last night at the VMAs, but not before she put in a 15 minute stomper of a performance featuring nearly all the songs of her self-titled album. As she said herself, welcome to her world.
Once that was done, husband Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy handed over the gong to an emotional (and probably wrecked even though you wouldn't know it) Beyoncé, who barely held back tears as the crowd cheered her name and Blue said 'Good job Mommy!'
You couldn't have scripted it. Except Beyoncé probably did. That is the power she has.
