Charlize Theron had words to say about that Fast & Furious 8 aka The Fate of the Furious kiss with Vin Diesel.
Anyone who has even seen the trailers for the new instalment in the FF franchise will have seen the bit where Theron’s character kisses Diesel’s Dominic Toretto in front of his wife Letty (played by Michelle Rodriguez).
Since then, Diesel has been reported as ‘gushing’ over the kiss, telling USA Today that Theron is “is not a bad kissing partner to have”, later continuing: "Do I know she enjoyed it? Oh, my God, yeah… A kiss cannot lie, lips don’t lie. No, they didn’t. She OWNED it."
Theron recently appeared on The Ellen Show to talk about the new movie.
As soon as Ellen Degeneres brought up the kiss, Charlize Theron visibly cringed. A still from the kiss is brought up onto the screen as the talk show host points out, Vin Diesel is not particularly responsive to the kiss “and yet he is going on and on about this as the best kiss he’s ever had in his life.”
Theron laughs and says “I don’t get it. You can set that I am forcing his face [onto mine]… I’m the crazy chick who’s doing this horrible thing to him, and his character is just frozen, standing there, like a dead fish, so that was what I was kissing.
“And he is going around saying that I had the best time of my life? They’re like ‘Do you think she liked it’ and he’s like ‘Oh yeah! She loved it, she loved it!’ It’s insane!... I like a little more movement in my men.”
