If Donald Trump's Presidency has taught us anything it's that literally anyone can become President of the United States.
If that's truly the case then why settle for somebody on Trump's level when you can have someone like The Rock.
In the middle of the election campaign last year, The Rock was profiled by The Washington Post as a potential future candidate. At the time the Fate of the Furious star admitted that the prospect was "very alluring."
It's been nearly a year since The Rock commented on the profile and in a recent interview with GQ the actor weighed in on his feelings about the prospect now.
“A year ago, it started coming up more and more,” he said. “There was a real sense of earnestness, which made me go home and think, ‘Let me really rethink my answer and make sure I am giving an answer that is truthful and also respectful.’ I didn’t want to be flippant. ‘We’ll have three days off for a weekend! No taxes!’… I think that it’s a real possibility.”
2020 might be a little too soon for him considering he's got a million movie franchises on the go but you'd be foolish to rule out political career for The Rock in the not too distant future.
