Here's Harry, all alone apart from a cloud of camera phone wielding strangers, returning to Heathrow Airport after his New Year break with Taylor Swift went slightly awry.
The couple - who went (very) public with their romance at the beginning of December - are said to have ended their relationship after they had a huge fight while on holiday in the Carribbean last week.
A source told the New York Post that the 18-year-old One Direction star was dumped by Taylor after they had a massive bust-up on the British Virgin Island, Virgin Gorda and she fled their plush resort early.
A source also confirmed to the MailOnline.com: "Yes I can confirm they have split up. They were on holiday and had an almighty row. They are two young stars at the top of their game so who knows what will happen in the future."
The 23-year-old blonde beauty jetted to the island last Tuesday (01.01.13) after ringing in the New Year in New York with her Brit beau, but she left just three days later on Friday. She was spotted looking glum as she caught a boat alone to the airport, while Harry was seen taking a trip over to Richard Branson's private resort on Necker Island for a night of partying, where he hung out in a hot tub and chatted with female fans - as one does - until the early morning hours, according Business Insider.
Taylor, who - it has to be said - is fond of twitter, hinted that all was not well between the couple later that day, as she posted: "...'til you put me down." Ah. OK. And there I thought she just had a change of heart after being able to inspect his litany of arbitrary Biro strewn tattoos under the glaring sun as opposed to the rose tinted mood lighting of the last two months.
Instead, she's learned that British boys are a bit like Irish boys - they like a good slagging match. American pop royalty are probably just a wee bit too literal to handle that.
