If you were on the cusp of blubbing for whatever reason this Wednesday morning, this is the thing that will push you over the precipice.
Being a global superstar isn't just about prancing about onstage - or tumbling off it backwards... Taylor Swift granted a dying four-year-old fan's last wish by speaking to her on the phone for 20 minutes.
The 25-year-old singer made a surprise FaceTime call to Jalene Salinas, who is suffering from an aggressive form of terminal brain cancer, to make the youngster's final dream come true after she expressed a desire to dance with Taylor to her hit Shake it Off.
Thanks @taylorswift13 for taking time to speak to a very special fan. Prayers to Jalene & family #ShakeItOffJalene https://t.co/e2K83nmphg

Speaking to Jalene's mother Jennifer Arriagas during the phone conversation, she said: "I got back from London and I heard about her and it's just unfathomable to have to watch your baby go through this."
According to a USA Today, Jalene was said to be "in pain" and as a result "didn't talk much" to her heroine but she did say "bye and thank you" to the singer.
Jalene's final dream came true after Taylor's fans - AKA Swifties - started a social networking campaign to get #ShakeItOffJalene trending after hearing about her dying wish.
Following the chat, Jennifer admitted she is delighted all of Jalene's wishes have now been "checked off."
She told KENS 5 News: "We can check everything off and as her mom it means the world to me that she got to do and see [everything] and everything is checked off now. It means so much to me that you reached out to us."
God's speed, little one.
