Ah for chrissakes. It seems I'll be giving our David Bryan that fiver after all. Despite the never ending reports that Robert Pattinson is just too hurt to be on the same planet with his Trampire ex girlfriend (Will Ferrell's words, not mine) it's now been revealed that he'll be walking the red carpet with her for the last installment of the Twilight franchise.

Now maybe this ISN'T a publicity stunt, despite how convenient this will seem to some of you conspiracy theorists. I for one would really like to believe this isn't all about getting attention in advance of the last Twilight flick, a franchise that in the shadow of The Hunger Games, has lost much of its appeal. I'm probably the only one in these here 'towers' who refuses to draw a correlation between the recent bust up, the present rumours of reconciliation and the impending premiere. I'd question it with anybody else but Pattinson seems to be as genuine as they come.

R-Patz has apparently agreed to remain 'professional' and attend the LA screening this November because he is worried about how fans will react when they see the actress. Speaking to The Sun newspaper, a source said: 'He's told movie bosses he'll walk the red carpet to save her from embarrassment and any female fans booing her... He is being professional and taking the higher moral ground.'

Moral ground, schmoral ground. Don't do it Rob! More pertinently however, he is still said to be 'not interested' in speaking to her. How awkward will that be? Has he agreed to touch off her for pics? How will they pose side by side and not speak? Will they smile? And what will he do if the crowds DO turn against her, if he really is that 'worried'?

Here's Pattinson's latest interview, this time on Jimmy Kimmel.
