It's all over Twitter, so it must be true...
And for those of you scratching your ceanns wondering "why move from National to Regional?" Well, it's always nice to get the coveted breakfast show in the station where you used to work (just ask Jim Jim Nugent) - it being the flagship slot of most radio schedules - and it's all under the Communicorp banner so everyone's a winner.
According to reports, Ray Foley and JP will step into the recently vacated void left by Aidan Power and Claire Solan from November onwards.
Speaking about the news, Foley said: "I can’t believe 98FM are giving me and JP the breakfast show! This show has been a dream of mine ever since I was a newsreader on 98FM a decade ago. I’ll miss my mates in Today FM but this prospect was just too tempting to turn down. Dublin is in for a rude awakening!"
So now that we know who's taking over from Aidan Power, who's going to take over Mr Foley's Today FM lunch time slot…?
Answers on a postcard please... I'd have to scrawl KC across mine. He's a fellow Mayo man/PPI Broadcaster of The Year nominee/winner, with the same relaxed presenting style as Foley sans the Marmite factor (and *ahems*muchbettertasteinmusic). Then again, I'm ever so slightly biased.
