According to Newstalk’s twitter page, Pat Kenny will now be joining their ranks. Considering the massive salaries that Kenny usually rakes in, could this mean Newstalk stalwarts like George Hook, Tom Dunne and Seán Moncrieff will have to take a cut to make way for the big gun?
Or maybe just a skeleton staff of interns to surround Pat Kenny? Who knows. We’ll keep you posted as the details rolls.

Pat will star airing with Newstalk on the 2nd September taking up the 10am - 12.30pm slot putting him in direct competition with his old slot with RTÉ.
