One of the more amusing bits from Jimmy Kimmel's presenting performance at Sunday night's Emmys was his gag around Maggie Smith never attending the Emmys and how the Emmys should stop giving awards to people who don't show up.
The gag was part of Kimmel's opening monologue and he went a step further later in the evening by intercepting the award when it was announced that she had won for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
"Maggie if you want this it will be in the lost and found."
Well Smith has responded to Kimmel's gags in the best way possible. A tweet went out last night with a message from Smith formerly accepting the award.
