If you live in the Ahakista area of Cork, and don't fancy having the hounds released on you, you could always ask Mr. Shearer to say "Howdy Doody, neighborino!" instead. We're sure he wouldn't mind.

According to The Irish Sun, the man who voices half The Simpsons' cast (Mr. Burns, Ned Flanders, Lenny Leonard, Rainier Wolfecastle, Waylon Smithers, and Seymour Skinner, to name but a few), and will be more remembered for his many uses of a cucumber in This Is Spinal Tap - the legendary Harry Shearer - has purchased a holiday home in Ahakista.

Apparently it's a "wooded coastal village with a deep and sheltered harbour." Great stomping ground for Mr. Burns after he takes his life extending medical treatments of a Friday night.

Shearer currently has abodes in London, Santa Monica, and New Orleans, so Cork was naturally the next port of call.
