What's a non-statement statement, you're probably asking?
Or maybe you're asking why we're writing about something like this when there's far more important things in the world? Maybe you're one of those special people who's asking who both of these people are, and are going to leave the same comment on Facebook?
A non-statement statement goes a little something like this. Hello! Magazine received one from Kensington Palace when it tried to get some kind of confirmation on whether or not Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were going to finally announce their engagement or not. That statement? "(They) would not give a running commentary on Harry's love life."
There you have it. A non-statement statement.
This all comes off endless rumours that Meghan Markle has completed her contract on Suits and is formally exiting the show, and bookmakers in England are suspending bets on a royal engagement announcement before the end of 2017.
Look, as long as Harvey Spector is still in Suits, the rest of this is just meaningless.
