Congratulations are in order for the first ever American Idol Kelly Clarkson this week as she welcomed her second child into the world.
Taking to Twitter to announce the birth, Kelly revealed she gave birth on Tuesday to a bouncing baby boy and that both mother and child are healthy and doing very, very well.
Our little baby boy has arrived!! Remington Alexander Blackstock was born 4/12/16 & he is healthy & we couldn't be happier or more in love!

As for the name, we're sure it's more common in the U.S. than we think (although all we can think of is cheap shavers and hair dryers - better than Babyliss we suppose).
It's the second child for Clarkson and husband Brandon Blackstock (which sounds like a very Game of Thrones name) who married in October 2013 and had their first child, a daughter named River Rose, in June of 2014.
