By the by, you know that petition we talked about yesterday? (the contents of which you can read below) It now has over 130,000 signatures. But first to his latest arrest.

The 19-year-old singer called into the 52 Division police station in Toronto today (30.01.14) to be formally charged with allegedly attacking a limousine driver last month. Well, at least he made a point of knocking in, even if he did plead not guilty when the charge was read out.

According to TMZ, Justin and his entourage were allegedly involved in an altercation while leaving a Toronto Maple Leafs game on December 29th, at the Air Canada Centre and police were forced to intervene. Bieber reportedly hit the driver on the back of the head repeatedly while they were en route to his hotel. Safety first, kids.

This is the latest in a string of legal issues he faces after he was arrested last week in Miami for driving under the influence (DUI), driving with an expired license and resisting arrest.

An arraignment date has been set for Valentine's Day (14.01.14), but Justin is not required to attend. He could, however, also potentially face felony charges after an incident earlier this month where one of his neighbours' homes was egged, causing $20,000 of damage. You may have heard us mention that a few times.

Officers for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's department said they will soon be submitting evidence to the District Attorney, who will then decide whether to press charges.

Meanwhile, Justin - who is from Ontario - could be deported back to Canada after over 130,000 people signed that petition to have him removed from the US. The number is significant 'cause it means President Obama has to actually address the situation by having the White House issue a response.

It reads: "We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nations youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society." Or, what this guy said.

Quick, another remake of Footloose needs to be made, this time starring the Biebs. It's grand, no one remembers the one from 2011. It could also feature an interview with Oprah, making it totally original.
