Although the divorce has been finalised and made official, it seems Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are still tied together in some manner as the Depp / TMG lawsuit rumbles on.

Just days after Depp finalised his divorce from Heard, he was slapped with another legal battle from his former business managers TMG. Broadly speaking, Depp is claiming they embezzled money from him, whereas they claim he's spending upwards of $2,000,000 per month on a life he can no longer afford - and that he owes them money for a loan they helped to secure.

However, this latest revelation puts a different spin on things. According to legal documents seen by People Magazine, TMG and Depp's ex-business manager Joel Mandel "was informed well after the fact through communications with various house staff and security that Depp had been extremely volatile and had sometimes ‘gotten physical’ with Heard."

As well as this, the legal documents also point to Mandel being made aware of an incident in 2014 where "Depp had violently kicked Heard."

Depp denied all allegations of physical abuse during the divorce proceedings and claimed Heard was making up the allegations to "extend her fifteen minutes of fame." A series of text messages were released to media, purporting to be from Depp's longtime assistant and Heard, which featured Depp - through his assistant - apologising to Heard for allegedly kicking her. Depp later denied these text messages were real and claimed Heard manufactured them.

This, according to TMG, isn't the case. According to the legal documents they filed in their suit against Depp, they allege that Depp "knew full well that the text messages were genuine, but pressured and berated his assistant to falsely challenge the texts publicly."

Heard had failed a domestic violence restraining order against Depp during the divorce proceedings, but retracted it when a $5,000,000 settlement was reached. Heard's legal team later released a statement following the settlement, which said that there "was never any intent of physical or emotional harm," and that their relationship was "intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love."
