Remember the tearful goodbye that had the majority in ribbons? A goodbye in which she said farewell "forever" to become a full time mum, because it's a very special time in a child's life that doesn't last "forever"? Well, 8 months in to fulltime mammydom, Jenny Kelly has confirmed that she will be joining her husband Ray on his new RTE Radio show.The powers that be probably insisted she had a copy of the RTE Guide naturally sitting on her desk at the time.

Indeed it will be nice to hear almost the "full team" again (um, Mairead, hellew), particularly the rapport between Ray and Jenny; as a rule, listeners enjoy hearing Ray being put back in his box, and only Jenny Kelly can do that with the finesse required.
And who could blame Jenny for joining the team; many when faced with the prospect of staying at home to mind the kiddies or shooting the breeze (when not tackling hard hitting issues) on the national airwaves would make the same choice. I just can't shake the feeling that it was all orchestrated months ago, and therefore still feeling a little duped. We'll get over it at some point, just not entirely sure when. Probably the date their show starts.
