The Orange Is The New Black actor sparked outrage when he wrote on Twitter, "Anyone wanna buy my Malaysian Airlines frequent flier miles?" shortly after news broke that the commercial plane carrying 295 passengers was shot down by a missile over the Ukraine yesterday. It comes 4 months after one of their other flights, MH370, went missing.
The 36-year-old star initially defended himself, saying he was merely a believer of the idea that laughter is the best medicine, after being inundated with abuse from followers. Just a heads up, Jason - generally that 'medicine' rule only applies to the people directly affected by such a incomprehensible loss.
Soon afterwards he deleted the original post and tweeted the following...

"Ill-timed"? Sometimes when it comes to quips (much like when it comes to certain people) 'no time is a good time.' According to emerging reports, a lot of the victims on yesterday's flight were AIDS activists; scientists and doctors at the forefront of their field in the fight against AIDS. They were on board the flight as they were attending a convention.
Biggs was previously criticised for the posting the following tweet after The Bachelorette contestant Eric Hill died in an accident earlier this year:
"Crazy rule change - instead of voting off the contestants, this season #TheBachelorette gets to kill them off."
