Someone needs to make Leonardo DiCaprio read this interview (via The Telegraph) immediately. Sure, his life is all supermodels in their twenties and allegedly dalliances with Rihanna right now, but that existence has a shelf life. Just ask Jack. 

Jack, who has spent most of his life surrounded by women, earning him the moniker 'Jack the Jumper' (surely 'Jumping Jack' would've been catchier, not to mention less 'ew'...), has finally realised that he'll never have another chance at love. In other words, he'd love to give it another whirl with Angelica Houston. 

The 77-year-old said: "I would love that one last romance but I'm not very realistic about it happening. What I can't deny is my yearning. I'm definitely still wild at heart, but I've struck biogravity. I can't hit on women in public anymore. I didn't decide this; it just doesn't feel right at my age. I have had everything a man could ask for but no one could say I'm successful with affairs of the heart. I don't think relationships are fixed things. People are necessarily complex and confused beings. We don't always do the right thing, say the right thing and behave the way we always want to behave... No woman has ever recognised what I say as being legitimate - they don't trust me. They think of my reputation - Jack the Jumper - so I'm damned by what women think."

So what do women think? Well, his first wife - actress Sandra Knight - with whom he enjoyed a "sweet" marriage with for six years, said: "I could see Jack was going to become a big star and have lots of temptations. I couldn't go along for the ride... He's different from the Jack Nicholson image. The real Jack is a loving, caring, giving person." That's not a bad review given he "repeatedly cheated" on her, and went on to have two children with another actress Rebecca Broussard. 

As for his lengthy relationship with Angelica Houston, which spanned two decades; she "beat Nicholson brutally about the head when he flippantly told her over dinner: 'Someone is gonna have a baby'." She said she was "tragically gullible" when it came to his charm, adding: "It's dangerous because you can get what you want with charm but it is devious." Again, despite this, she described him as "someone I have adored in my life and continue to love forever."

Understandably not enough to move back into his sprawling Hollywood home. A source speaking with Closer Magazine added: "He's afraid of dying alone in that house' referring to his mansion that his children want him to sell. They've been encouraging him to downsize and move into a more manageable place in Beverly Hills. But he loves his old place in the Hollywood Hills."

Hey, maybe he can get Leo to move in with him. It could be the perfect coupling as Leo - unlike Jack - hasn't made the mistake of getting married, so they could just party on down with lovely girls for the rest of their days. And sure they'd have each other for the 'deep and meaningfuls'. Hey, it's a viable option. Everyone's a winner. Kind of.
