UPDATED: After years of Devine roadside dalliances and gatecrashing all-girl college parties, and what not, Hugh Grant has become a father for the first time aged 51. The Notting Hill star - who dated Liz Hurley for 13 years - has welcomed a daughter with a woman that he had a 'fleeting affair' with, according to his rep.
"I can confirm that Hugh Grant is the delighted father of a baby girl," the spokesman said in a statement to People magazine. "He and the mother had a fleeting affair and while this was not planned, Hugh could not be happier or more supportive. He and the mother have discussed everything and are on very friendly terms."
The name of "the mother" has not been released. She's probably some Norwegian undergrad... Or his Asian next door neighbour... Let's go with the latter, the first has been done before.
Hugh Grant impregnated Tinglan Hong, his 32-year-old who lives next door to him in Fulham. The Sun claims: "It was reported last night that Tinglan had a Caesarean birth at London's Portland Hospital on September 26th. It is thought Hugh was not present but that he spent half an hour there the next day before jetting off on a golf trip to Scotland. Bachelor Hugh and Tinglan were spotted on dates earlier this year and were seen kissing in a local pub in January... Their relationship is said to have fallen apart after she became pregnant."
