There was a lot to be cheery about at last night's Golden Globes (Film Winners list here, TV winners list here) - mainly thanks to the amount of globes on display. There indeed were a lot of peekaboob (and peekagusset in Miranda Kerr's case) ensembles on display. Some got it right (Claire Danes and Amy Poehler - we'll overlook that her trews could do with being a bit longer) and some got it wrong, like Jessica Chastain. More on that in a minute...
Then there were those who went full on nude - Hayden Panettiere (although some were saying there was a bang of Stepfords off her), Megan Fox, Amy Adams - alongside JLo, who opted to have some embroidery covering her modesty.
Jessica Alba wore a variant of nude in a peachy hue, but she just seems to be clashing with herself a bit.
One could say Sofia Vergara just wears the same dress in a variety of different colours, but who's going to quibble when she looks this good…
Others who nailed it include Salma Hayek, Jennifer Garner, Helen Mirren, and Naomi Watts. Nicole Kidman's dress shouldn't work but it does, a theme shared by Kate Hudson. Yes, she looks like she's being throttled, but that's why we like it.
The best dressed on the night, however, had to go to Michelle Dockery of Downton. She struck the right note between sexiness and sophistication.
