He may have said that he planned on seeing Ben Affleck's take on the Dark Knight at some point but it seems that Christian Bale is in no hurry to make it happen.
Back in 2016, Bale said that he was sure Affleck and company had "done a bloody great job" on 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' despite having only seen the trailer for it and it seems that he hasn't remedied that since.
"I have not [seen Ben Affleck’s Batman]," he said during an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast with MTV’s Josh Horowitz. "Yes, I’m interested [in seeing it], my son seemed like he was really interested, but then I realized he just wanted to see the trailer and that was it. And, you know, I tend to go see films that [my kids] want to see."
Is it just us or is that one shady burn on Ben Affleck and 'Justice League'?
But Affleck doesn't need to be too offended, as it seems Bale just isn't a fan of superhero movies in general, despite starring in three of them himself.
"People seem surprised at that, I don’t know why, but I’ve not seen any of the Avengers films or any of those films at all," he said. "I hear they’re very good, but I’m quite happy just hearing they’re very good."
