Rumours are reverberating this morning that the beard and the leg are getting hitched this weekend. Usually that either means they're already married on the sly (Beyonce and Jay-Z) or will get married in a year's time (Natalie Portman and her tiny dancer).
So these are the "facts". Guests already at the couple's French home, including Brad's mother Jane and father Bill. Top jeweller Robert Procop, who made Angelina's engagement ring (and then told everyone about it), is also at the residence.
The event is said to be for Brad's parents' 50th wedding anniversary but locals think otherwise and claim there is a 'real buzz' there.
A source offered The Sun the follow nuggets: "Brad flew in to oversee preparations but they're all here now. They say it's for Jane and Bill, but some think this could be it. Even Angelina's (not so) private jeweller is here."
The couple, who met on the set of hit film Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2005 - when Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston - announced their engagement in April. Well, their private ring maker did.
Their plan was always for a small ceremony at their Chateau Miraval home in the south of France.
Their guest list, said to be no more than 20, of course includes George Clooney. Apparently he's yet to arrive.
A source said: "George and Brad are best pals, there's no way he'd miss it. He's at his house in Italy, but could fly to Marseille in an hour."
While The Sun repeatedly bleats that there's "a real buzz" about the place, other reporters are saying "there has been no sign of preparations."
