Not that they've been courting for an inordinate amount of time, more that everyday there's been speculation regarding him marrying his 27-year-old yoga instructor for the last two months now.
Well, they did it in New York on Friday. Here are the finer details: they got married at The Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in Little Italy, Manhattan and had their reception at New York University's Kimmel Center. Hilaria and Ireland (seen here yesterday enjoying the sun) both wore silk gowns by Amsale, while the groom wore Tom Ford (cue mental image of Alec giving Tom Ford a piggy back for the day). The likes of Tina Fey, Stephen Baldwin, Mariska Hartingay, Woody Allen, the adopted daughter/wife and a few others attended.
Naturally there are no snaps of the bride in her finery as someone who did try to take some photos got himself clotheslined.
Photographer Steve Sands was assaulted and thrown to the ground by Alec Baldwin's security team, when he tried to photograph the bride's entourage arriving at a private residence in the back of The Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral. He can add his name to the list.
