It seems like a bit of a strange, not to mention sudden reason for cancelling the remaining dates of your world tour - but Janet Jackson has provided fans with an explanation for not fulfilling her commitments on her 'Unbreakable' tour.
Jackson was supposed to play Dublin's 3Arena last weekend, but postponed all of her UK and European dates last month. Rumours of her undergoing treatment for throat cancer were strenuously denied.
Now, the 49-year-old has revealed the reason for the cancellation via a video message that explains that she and her husband are "planning our family".
"We're in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change," she said."I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family. So I'm gonna have to delay the tour.
"Please, if you can, try and understand that it's important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor's orders, but I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can."
Jackson married Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana in 2012.
