Celebrities from the world of music, film, sport and more came together at the Staples Center for a special occasion the other night, when basketball player Kobe Bryant played his last game for the LA Lakers.
Lakers uber-fan Flea, bassist of Red Hot Chili Peppers, paid his own special tribute to Bryant on the night by playing 'The Star Spangled Banner' as a bass solo.
His divisive performance drew a lot of criticism from some quarters. Others, including some of his fellow musicians, stuck up for the diminutive bassist; others still made some pretty funny jokes.
