There are always people on the lookout to make a quick buck in this city, however some methods can be more nefarious than others - as was the case when two opportunistic ticket touts approached two guys walking through Dublin city to offer them tickets to an exclusive Kodaline concert for just €5. Seems like a good deal, right? Well, not when you consider that there was no gig taking place AND the two people they attempted to sell the tickets to were actually members of Kodaline.
The touts obviously didn't recognise their marks when they approached and were met with disbelief when they tried to shift the made-up tickets for just a fiver. As you might expect, Garrigan and Prendergast thought better of their offer - especially given the fact that they usually don't have to pay in to a Kodaline concert, later dubbing the pair "chancers".
Kodaline have now embarked to Chicago where the lads will play at the forthcoming Lollapalooza festival.
2 Chancers on the street tried to charge me and @SteveKodaline €5 into a Kodaline gig yesterday that wasn't even happening.. Seriously?
