The Sugar Club is planning a mammoth Bank Holiday Weekender this Saturday and Sunday that includes gigs, DJ sets, a BBQ and several music-related film screenings.
The venue is officially launching its new Courtyard Terrace for the summer, and will throw a party that runs across both days.
Saturday's line-up includes music from Big Dish Go, Dip, Future Bones (live), Marquis D'Alton and more. There will also be a screening of Talking Heads' iconic documentary concert film 'Stop Making Sense'.
On Sunday, there'll be live music from 10-piece Afrobeat/soul/funk/reggae band Ajo Arkestra, as well as DJ sets from the likes of Scope, Nialler9, Lando and Fruitman. Bob Marley documentary 'Marley' will also be screened on Sunday.
