One of Dublin's best-kept secrets finally release their debut album - and it doesn't disappoint. The choirboy vocals of Emmet Tinley are given full range on these emotionally-stretching songs which often bring early Radiohead to mind. The band are remarkably tight, frequently introducing dramatic shifts of tempo as if their lives depended on it. A couple of weak tracks towards the end spoil the effect somewhat - but overall, well worth getting your hands on.
