New Jersey's finest will take to the stage in both Dublin and Blefast in June of next year.
The Gaslight Anthem will make their long-awaited return to Ireland as they play Dublin June 8th, 2015 at the Olympia Theatre. The band are touring in support of their new album Get Hurt, which came out last August, with 'Rollin’ and Tumblin' being released as the first single.
Recorded at the legendary Blackbird Studios in Nashville with producer Mike Crossey (The 1975, Arctic Monkeys and Jake Bugg), Get Hurt sees The Gaslight Anthem pushing themselves beyond the raw, stripped back rock ‘n’ roll sound of some of their previous albums, whilst drawing on influences from across folk, punk, and Americana.
As a result the sound is a bit heavier, but still laden with the hooks and riffs that the band have made a name on. This latest album follows on from the success of 2012's Handwritten which saw the band playing Wembley Stadium, Glastonbury and Coachella along the way. The more intimate surrounds of the Olympia theater will make for a spectacular show as a band at the very top of their game play to what is sure to be a packed house.
Tickets for The Gaslight Anthem are priced €29.50 / €32.50 including booking fee are on sale this Friday at 10am.
